We commissioned Ruth Cockburn to create a theatre performance for Great Harwood Library in 2019.
Called ‘Miss Nobodies’, the show is named after a book by the late Lancashire-born author Ethel Carnie Holdsworth, who became the first working class woman in Britain to have a novel published.
Ruth worked with local businesses and residents to inspire the writing for the script and is currently finalising the live performance with plans to tour in Autumn 2021.
During the lockdown Ruth developed a zoom version of the show and has delivered two scratch performances to Spot On audiences which have formed part of the research and development.
