We commissioned Ruth Cockburn to create a theatre performance for Great Harwood Library in 2019.

Called ‘Miss Nobodies’, the show is named after a book by the late Lancashire-born author Ethel Carnie Holdsworth, who became the first working class woman in Britain to have a novel published.

Ruth worked with local businesses and residents to inspire the writing for the script. The final show toured in Autumn 2021 and is now moving on to tour nationally.
