In 2017, we commissioned local community artist and illustrator, Cath Ford, to set off on an adventure with the Lancashire County Council Mobile Library Service. Over the course of two months Cath went out on the library van meeting people, collecting stories, and creating illustrations based on her experiences. The result was a collection of posters, bookmarks and bookbags documenting of the life of the six mobile libraries in the county, the people who work on them and the people who use them.
