Garry Cook is a photojournalist whose photography has covered diverse social-issues projects, from sex and religion to racism and the conflict between Israel and Palestine. He has published over a dozen books including Marlboro Nights, Outsiders, Stay At Home Dads Are Not Welcome Here and Palestiniana.

He is the creator of Lancashire Photography Festival, the UK’s largest outdoor photography festival, based in Preston. His most recent project is the Pop-Up Paste-Up outdoor photography exhibition, currently on display in Church Street, Accrington.
