Cancelled – Author Talk

Neil White & Nick Oldham

Come to Longton Library to hear best selling authors talk about their work and perhaps share the secrets of their characters and methods. Warning! May contain books.

Neil White is the bestselling author of twelve crime novels, nine of which are set in Lancashire, including the number one bestseller Cold Kill. As well as writing crime fiction, he is a criminal solicitor, with most of that time spent as a Senior Crown Prosecutor.

Nick Oldham has written 31 crime novels including 26 in the highly addictive Henry Christie police procedural crime series. The first Henry Christie novel appeared in 1996 while Nick was still a serving officer in the Lancashire Constabulary. Nick later created Steve Flynn, former Royal Marine and ex-policeman living in The Canary Islands, earning his living as a sport fishing skipper. He’s also written two novelisations based on two big crime films Vendetta and We Still Kill the Old Way. Nick’s latest Henry Christie thriller, WILDFIRE was published in January 2020.
