Saturday 16th September 11am – 3pm
Blackburn Town Centre
What’s the kindest thing anyone has ever done for you?
Sam Brady, failed Buddhist Monk and comedian, invites you into the Kindness Caravan to tell him all about your thoughts on being kind. Every hour, on the hour Sam will welcome people into the caravan for tea and cake. It’s a 20 minute conversation about trying to make the world a kinder place.
The Kindness Caravan will be parked up in Blackburn Town Centre on Saturday 16th September from 11am until 3pm.
This event is part of Lancashire Storytelling Season which sees a whole host of pop up events and free family festival days across Lancashire. Spot On Rural Touring and Libraries have teamed up with Super Slow Way, Burnley Mechanics and Darwen Library Theatre to bring some of the best storytellers in the country to the county.
Sam is aiming to gather research material for his upcoming shows ‘Kindness’ and ‘Spitfire’ which will be part of the Spot On Lancashire Spring 2018 season.
Speaking ahead of the show Sam Brady said:
“Nobody can be kind all of the time. But here’s the thing. No matter what your religion, or where you come from, or who you voted for – if you’re a human being, you have the capacity to do one kind thing that will change someone’s life forever.”
