A story of love, set in Blackpool.
When you think of Blackpool, romance is not often the first word that springs to mind. In-fact, romance would be way down the list, but Ruth E. Cockburn finds Blackpool fascinating, she loves the place. It’s where Ruth grew up and, for better or for worse, has shaped her into the woman she is today.
Ruth gathered stories from people all over Blackpool and Wyre, and created a high class, comedic and storytelling musical show. She uses found love letters, original songs, poetry and audience interaction to answer the questions… ‘What is love?’ and ‘Is Blackpool still lovable?’
